Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information

Under Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.121 and 11 CCR § 7027, California residents have the right to direct a business to limit its use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to that which is strictly necessary to perform the services or provide the goods requested.

What is Sensitive Personal Information (SPI)?

Under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Sensitive Personal Information includes data such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, contents of private communications, and account credentials.

Carbonatoz processes corporate carbon accounting, IoT facility telemetry, and supply chain emissions. We do not use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics about individuals or for behavioral profiling.

Designated Method 1: Interactive Online Request Form

Enter the email address associated with your interaction or account. Submitting this form directs Carbonatoz to limit the use of your sensitive personal information solely to what is necessary to perform the services or provide the goods reasonably expected by an average consumer, and for authorized statutory purposes.

Designated Method 2: Direct Email Submission

In compliance with 11 CCR § 7027(b) requiring at least two designated submission methods, you may also submit your request by sending an email with the subject line "CCPA: Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information" to:

We will never discriminate against you for exercising your right to limit the use of your sensitive personal information. Exercising this right will not result in any penalty, price variation, or reduction in service quality.
